Staplerfahrer is Steffan de Turck, a Dutch sound artist playing around with crunched and broken sounds, circuit bended gadgetry and electro-magnetic waves. Some 10+ years ago, I became interested in "musical noises" while circuitbending my own audio equipment. The surprises I discovered by doing so, was my introduction into the world of bleep, click and crackle. From then on, my fascination for electronic sounds grew stronger and stronger, as did the need to process these sounds and apply them into a musical format… both live and as physical/virtual releases.

In the last few years I shared the stage with a.o. dj DMDN, The Pulse Projects, bjerga/iversen, machinefabriek, Masonic Youth, Madame P, Danielle Lemaire, Eleanor Balson (of Soft Serve), KornreinigeR, incite/, Swamps up Nostrils and many more…
